IS THERE SOMETHING NEW IN THE “NEW HOUSE” OF MEDICAL STUDENTS? After 4 years of waiting, medical students moved to a new 15th-floor dormitory located in Hanoi Medical University campus. What is the differences between old and new dorm? Is the new life as good as they expected? Let’s disclose these together. The new dorm with spectacular structure is very convenient and spacious. Canteen, coffee shops, and small supermarket are located on the first floor, which serve foods and drinks for HMU students. If you want a quiet place for self-study, the best choice is the library on the second floor, where is enough for approximately 200 seats for students It is understandable that you would be worried about your health if you got sick. Although the HMU hospital was close to the university, you may hesitate to consult a doctor as it may be unaffordable for students. It would be better if you would go to the medical room on the 3rd floor to get free-of- charge health support. Students stay from 4th to 15th floor. The new dormitory still exists several problems. Sometimes, because there are many students rushing to class in the morning, the lift stuck and does not move for a while. Furthermore, there have been three lifts in a total of six ones that have been running, thus, it is hard to take the lift during rush hours. Sometimes, the sudden shortage of water happened on some floors, so if you are not timely to store water, then you will not take a shower until the following day! It can not be denied that the new dormitory is more modern and convenient than the old one. Moving into the new house, the student's life is much improved. It is believed that every issue will be worked out as fast as possible to get a stable life for medical students.
