On October 21st, ISTEP project is glad to welcome a group of postgraduates from International Master of Public health Programme of the Institute of Preventive Medicine and Public Health (IPMPH). Despite the initial concern about language barriers, the meeting took place in an informal and joyful atmosphere. In order to make the very first impression of HMU’s hospitality on international students, volunteers from the project brought up the University’s history of establishment and development, along with the important roles of school and students in conserving beautiful traditions through all those years. Moreover, essential buildings in the university which include Ho Dac Di lecture hall, buildings such as A1 (for management and administration), A3 (For experiments), A7 (where IPMPH is located), etc were also taken into account; therefore, the programme’s students would not face any difficulty during their time studying in HMU. Moreover, the university’s campus was not the only place to hold the meeting as the native students arranged a short tour to some places outside the campus such as 1A alley - the traditional open-air market, convenience stores (Circle K, Fresh Garden Bakery) so as to help them being more initiative in daily living in the following months. At the end of the quick circuit, some volunteer students and a student from Ghana took part in a mini competition called "Master non-alcoholic bartender" and won the prize of best flavour
